Indianapolis Motor Speedway
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway ranks alongside Le Mans and Daytona as one of motor racing’s truly iconic circuits. It earned its nickname “The Brickyard” because founder Carl Fisher paved the circuit’s original dirt surface with 3.2 million bricks after its first race in 1909.
